The voice acting community suffered a loss on January 7, 2021, as voice actor Brad Venable passed away at the age of 43. Originally, a cause of death was not given, but Venable’s wife has permitted his colleagues to share news of her husband’s recent passing. Over the weekend, it was later confirmed by voice actor Kyle McCarley (Nier Automata) that Venable died from a heart attack and tested positive for COVID-19 the day before his death.

Venable was best known for his work in games such as Devil May Cry V, where he portrayed Griffon, and starred in games like Ace Combat 7, Serious Sam 4, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Desperados III, and many more.
