The Fortnite community’s top leaker, AdiraFNInfo, isn’t some mastermind dataminer. He was allegedly working with Epic Games the entire time. Now, Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Hayden Cohen (AdiraFNInfo) on March 5..

“Today, we took legal action against a former contractor who repeatedly leaked confidential partner IP and trade secrets that they received while working with Epic. We absolutely do not allow this and will continue to take action when Epic team members share confidential info. It harms our partners and makes it harder to bring awesome IP to our games,” Epic Games Newsroom wrote on X.

AdiraFNInfo has a great reputation within the community. He had over 13,000 followers on X and Discord and was one of the most accurate sources for Fortnite collaboration leaks. His work at Epic Games was the reason his leaks were always early and precise. Without any warning, his accounts were deactivated in late February, which concerned the community.

The case against Cohen alleges that he used his position as an Associate Producer at Epic, via a third-party staffing agency, to leak confidential information.

In September 2025, he signed a non-disclosure agreement and was granted unrestricted access to all of Epic’s internal systems. According to the complaint, the leaked data were not accessible through any public data mining, but were obtained directly from within the company. Cohen had previously worked at AMC before joining Epic.

Cohen has leaked over a dozen collaborations, including South Park, Solo Leveling and alleged future collaborations with Minecraft, Game of Thrones, Overwatch and Kingdom Hearts. A cease-and-desist was sent to Cohen on Feb. 20, but Cohen failed to comply. Epic then cut off his access to the system.

Epic claims the leaks damaged partner relationships, cost it lost profits, reduced player excitement and incurred investigation costs. Epic is seeking trade secret misappropriation charges under federal and North Carolina law, breach of contract and unfair competition violations, plus a permanent injunction and financial damages. Epic claims Cohen did it purely to gain popularity on social media.

Epic has a strong history of suing companies and individuals, including Google, Apple, cheaters and leakers. Although some argue that the situation is ironic, given that Epic tolerates leakers such as Hypex and Shiina, this case is different. Cohen is the source, not a third party. Cohen will await whatever consequences he has coming.
