‘Terraria’ Dev Andrew Spinks Cancels Stadia Port, Calls Working with Google ‘A Liability’
Andrew Spinks, creator of Terraria, posted a statement on Twitter on Tuesday saying his game’s Google Stadia port has been cancelled.
According to Spinks, he was suddenly locked out of all of his Google accounts and doesn’t know why.
@Google my account has now been disabled for over 3 weeks. I still have no idea why, and after using every resource I have to get this resolved you have done nothing but given me the runaround.

Spinks cites losses of “thousands of dollars of apps” on the Google Play store and all of his Google drive data. “The worst of all is losing access to my gmail address of over 15 years,” said Spinks.
“I absolutely have not done anything to violate your terms of service, so I can take this no other way than you deciding to burn this bridge,” he added. “Consider it burned. Terraria for Google Stadia is canceled. My company will no longer support any of your platforms moving forward.”
Terraria was not yet announced for Stadia, making the cancellation even more surprising.
Stadia announced last week that their internal development studios would be shutting down and that the company would be focusing on licensing third party games for their system. Spinks finished his statement saying, “I will not be involved with a corporation that values their customers and partners so little. Doing business with you is a liability.”
