Back in May, it was confirmed during a press briefing that Creatures is currently working on a game for the Nintendo Switch: a sequel to their Nintendo 3DS exclusive Detective Pikachu. On Monday, it was discovered that the studio posted new job openings, looking to expand the team for the project. In particular, the positions are for a game programmer, a CG engineer and several 3D CG designers and game planners.

Considering the nature of this tidbit and the game’s barebones announcement, Creatures’ second Pokémon adventure is clearly a while off. Speaking as someone who derived enough enjoyment out of the original game, I’ll be there for the second part whenever it arrives.

In other Pokémon news, Sword and Shield are the current center of attention, with The Pokémon Company having divulged a new trailer for the pair earlier today.
