2XKO, a free-to-play fighter from Riot Games, set to release this year, has had leaks regarding champions in the upcoming game’s roster.
2XKO is a 2v2 tag team fighting game set in the League of Legends universe; however, it strays away from League of Legends‘ 5v5 Multiplayer Online Battle Arena or MOBA gameplay. Currently, 2XKO has a closed beta version released on PC for players who receive an invite code.
The leaked roster includes Ekko, Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, Illaoi, Braum, Jinx, Vi, Blitz, Teemo and Zed as the first DLC characters. Fans took to online forums and social media to express their opinions on the leaks. Under the r/2XKO subreddit, a user posted asking what others’ views are on the leaks, “If the leaked roster is true, how would you feel about it?” he asked.

Commenters responded to the post with, “A lack of Sett, Samira, and Riven is kinda crazy to me, considering those characters are made for fighting games. Sadly, Riot is obsessed with catering to people who watch Arcane despite the fact that they don’t play their games.” There was also discourse about the speculation of the champion Teemo being in the roster; one user was excited for the possibility, adding, “Bro if teemo is in the game that’s all I need for this to become my main game,” whereas another stated, “Im gonna say. Teemo would f***ing suck in this fighting game. I don’t want him in.”
When dataminer @SkinSpotlights posted on X with the caption, “2XKO Upcoming Battlepass will has 3 different paid tiers, Premium (Just the Battlepass), Premium Plus (BP + 10 Levels) and Ultimate (BP + 25 Levels). Ignore the photobomber of a rat, hes meant to be invisible because of his passive,” as well as including a photo of Yasuo, Illaoi, Teemo, Braum. X users responded with, “i’ll forgive riot for making the absolute worst character the 10th champion because atleast i got my beta invitation,” along with, “This better be bait yall im so serious that little dude is the most annoying character in every game he’s in.” Fans suspected the leak may be accurate based on the official 2XKO X account commenting on the post, “how’d that get in there?”
