Epic Games has just announced the Rift Tour, which will be a concert-based event that takes place over multiple days. The tour will 0ccur from August 6 to 8 and will include an appearance fr0m an unnamed celebrity.

Epic Games made the announcement on Thursday, July 29 through a post to their website. “From August 6-8, take a musical journey into magical new realities where Fortnite and a record-breaking superstar collide. Dive into the Rift Tour,” the article states, introducing the upcoming event.

The event will add new content before the start of the tour, with Rift Tour quests. These will be available from July 29 to August 8. The first wave of rewards began on July 29 and have been labeled as Before the Tour rewards. These include the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen (Created by Delicious Design League), the Rift-sterpiece Spray and the Cloudy Kitty Emoticon.

The Rift Tour will also include an additional in-game tab. “The Rift Tour tab allows you and your friends to schedule the showtimes you plan to attend, as well as keep up-to-speed on the latest Rift Tour Quests,” explains Epic.

Last spring, Fortnite held another tour that featured superstar artist Travis Scott. Around 27 million players were in attendance. Musical star Marshmello also held a concert, which drew over 10 million players.

Many have speculated that either Lady Gaga or Ariana Grande could be the musical feature for The Rift Tour. This is because these two were reportedly supposed to hold an in-game concert previously. These details were revealed in court documents from Apple’s lawsuit against Epic Games. Grande has emerged as a frontrunner in the minds of fans as the event begins on August 6, which is Ariana Grande day.

The event will be live for the Americas on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. EST. and August 8 at 10:00 a.m. EST. It will take place globally at 2 p.m. EST. on August 7. The event will be live for Asia and Oceania at 12:00 a.m. EST. on August 8. The EU and ME can experience the event at 10:00 a.m. EST. on August 8.

Epic stated that more information regarding the Rift Tour will be released on August 2.
