‘Animal Crossing’ Tops Amazon’s List Of Best-Selling Games In U.S. & U.K.

With many people staying indoors because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many have decided to order their games by mail rather than going to local retailers to buy them. With 2020 coming to a close, Amazon has released its listings of the best gaming products sold throughout the year in both its U.S. and U.K. divisions.

Unsurprisingly, Animal Crossing: New Horizons top both countries list as the best-selling game of 2020, with Super Mario 3D All-Stars following suit. Additionally, both The Last of Us Part 2 and the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 were featured on both lists. The full lists for both counties are as followed:

Nintendo Switch Games old and new were in high demand for the U.S. list, with games like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the top 10. Finally, FIFA 21 was unsurprisingly just below the likes of Nintendo, with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla bring up the end.
