Hey, friends! My Nintendo Switch has arrived! I look forward to bonding with it this weekend while losing to all of you in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. And, on that note, I’m glad my Switch is here, as this week’s Nintendo eShop update focuses almost exclusively on it.

NINTENDO ESHOP RELEASES – MAY 11, 2017

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, as its title suggests, brings Mojang’s cultural phenomenon to Nintendo’s latest piece of hardware. You know the drill: maintain your safety in Survival Mode, with your handcrafted weapons to fend off foes. Alternatively, you can explore the landscape with an infinite amount of resources in the stress-free Creative Mode. Up to eight players can jump in together! Also, should you want to expand your toolset, several DLC packs are available, including the Nintendo-exclusive Super Mario Mash-Up pack.

Here’s everything Nintendo released on the eShop this week:

Nintendo Switch

Games:

  • ACA NEOGEO GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES (Hamster, $7.99)
  • Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition (Mojang, $29.99 – DLC packs are also available)

Nintendo 3DS

Games:

  • Elliot Quest (PlayEveryWare, $14.99)

Nothing listed above catches your attention? Then check out what’s on sale. One of my best friends raves over Terraria. Also, speaking of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a few rewards based on it have joined the My Nintendo circuit.
