Late Wednesday night, season four of Call of Duty: Warzone was released. With it there were numerous updates for players – from new game modes to other bug fixes. Here are some of the highlights:

  • New Game Modes:
    • Jailbreak: This will occur when eliminated players are waiting for the Gulag. From what it looks like, players who are spectating after being eliminated will get thrown into this mini-game in the middle of the main game as another way to compete.
    • Warzone Rumble: This is a 50 versus 50 event on certain parts of the map where teams will fight for the ultimate bragging rights. There are special weapons and respawns that are exclusive to this mode. This will be something never seen in Warzone games.
  • Other In Game Fixes:
    • Fire Sale: This will drop the price of various items in the store significantly, which is expected to bring a craziness to the store never seen before.
    • Supply Choppers: If players are familiar with Fortnite or Apex, players will be able to now shoot down supply choppers in Warzone. If they are successful, players can get a significant amount of loot that can put them in a great spot to win.
  • New Weapons:
    • CR-56 Amax
    • Renetti
    • Fennec
  • Other Minor Fixes
    • Recon contracts no longer spawn in supply caches
    • Earlier warning when you are about to run out of ammo with an LMG
    • Heartbeat sensors now disguise Ghost players in killcams
