To say that the PS5 pre-orders have been a mess is to put it mildly. From websites crashing from too many people attempting to get one before launch to Sony executives surprised that they went so quickly, It’s going to be hard to secure a PS5. While a few have been able to obtain a pre-order, many weren’t so lucky. Adding to the insanity now is the news that PS5 may not even arrive on release for Amazon customers.
Those who were able to pre-order the PS5 on Amazon were sent an email warning them that they may not even get one the release date. “We’re contacting you about your order of PlayStation 5 Console to let you know in advance that you may not receive this item on the day it is released due to high demand. We’ll make every effort to get the item to you as soon as possible once released.”
