PS5 Reveal: All You Need to Know

To say that the PS5 pre-orders have been a mess is to put it mildly. From websites crashing from too many people attempting to get one before launch to Sony executives surprised that they went so quickly, It’s going to be hard to secure a PS5. While a few have been able to obtain a pre-order, many weren’t so lucky. Adding to the insanity now is the news that PS5 may not even arrive on release for Amazon customers.

Those who were able to pre-order the PS5 on Amazon were sent an email warning them that they may not even get one the release date. “We’re contacting you about your order of PlayStation 5 Console to let you know in advance that you may not receive this item on the day it is released due to high demand. We’ll make every effort to get the item to you as soon as possible once released.”

Right now, most places have already sold out on pre-orders for the PS5, including Amazon, with most retailers unsure when they will get more shipments of the PS5. For now, customers will have to wait and hope they’ll get one on the day of release.

The PlayStation 5 is currently on track for release on November 12.
