'Tony Hawks Pro Skater'
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, skateboarding video games were all the rage among sports fans. Now in 2020, it seems what’s old is new again with the expected release of various skateboarding titles.
Games like remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, Skate 4, Skater XL and Session. All of which have been released this year, or are slated to be released later in 2020 or early 2021.
Skate 4 was highly anticipated amongst fans and something that they had been asking of EA for years. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 remastered will have fans looking back on the old days when these games originally came out.
The sport has grown exponentially more in popularity in the last 20 or so years, and with it now being an Olympic sport. Now, one can make the case that skate games could continue to grow in popularity in the years to come.
