Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 came online on August 12, following updates on August 11. On the game’s official website, Raven Software outlines all the updated content for the forthcoming features.

There are two new perks coming this season.

First, ‘Combat Scout’ gives players a burst of in-field intel, as damaging an enemy leaves a bright orange highlight on him. It can be used to call out the foes hiding behind the building or simply confirm a callout. This perk gives a great buff to the team’s communication and tactics.

The second perk is ‘Tempered.’ When an operator is under the effect of Tempered, his Armor Plate can absorb 75 points of damage instead of the standard 50. The downside is that the operator will only be able to wear two plates during the effect.

The new Gulag, ‘Rush,’ is also coming along with season 5. Centered around the “speedball arena,” this Gulag is a multiplayer map in Black Ops 2Therefore, if you want to ace the battle royale game next week on August 10, directly head to Black Ops Cold War to practice.

The new season also brings Clash back, inviting operators to join this chaotic 50v50 combat. The rules are the same. Eliminating enemies will grant your team one point; the first team that gets 200 points wins the combat. Moreover, the damage profile for weapons remains the same in other Warzone modes, making it easier for players to dive into this ruthless match.

New Points of Interests and Mobile Broadcast Stations have also been added as new features.
