Google has announced that they will be offering refunds to customers who have bought games recently placed on the monthly Stadia Pro subscription. The subscription costs $9.99 a-month which is vastly cheaper than buying the games wholesale. Farming Simulator 19 is available December 1 on the monthly subscription along with Tomb: Raider Definitive Edition, which were both announced overnight.

The problem that Google is attempting to solve is that customers who have just bought these games have paid roughly $40 for games that in a week will cost about $10 with the addition of more games to Stadia Pro.

Google is anticipating more complaints, so they have already announced that refunds will be available to customers who have recently bought these games. A Google community manager said, “Because of the proximity between the launch of the platform, and the announcement of these titles in Stadia Pro, we’re happy to assist you if you’d like to request a refund if you have purchased either or both of these titles, even if it’s outside of our normal policy.”

Google should take into consideration that some people don’t know about the update and be paying for games four times their price next week. If you have bought the games, you can head over to Google’s Support website and get your refund.

The best prediction for how Sadia Pro will play out in the future is simple. Google will probably not offer such a widespread refund in the future. You should expect them to add a large number of games to this new platform.
