Hey, how’s everyone’s week going? I hope your weekend schedule is as clear as Hyrule’s sky, as the flagship launch title for the Nintendo Switch is about to get its first pack of downloadable content.

NINTENDO ESHOP RELEASES – 6/29/2017

The Master Trials” is the first of two DLC packs available to those who purchased The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Expansion Pass. The true potential of the Master Sword can be unlocked by clearing the brutal “Trial of the Sword” challenge, where you’ll be stripped of your tools. And cling on to dear life, you’ll need your strength in the new Hard Mode! Other benefits include the new Travel Medallion, which lets you register a location for fast traveling, and the Hero’s Path feature. The Expansion Pass’s first pack launches tomorrow for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions of Breath of the Wild, with the second slated for release by the holidays. The Expansion Pass costs $19.99.

GoNNER is a challenging side-scroller about friendship and pushing yourself to the limit for it. Help our hero’s best friend, a whale named Sally, in this “score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements.” Secret areas, wherein you can earn items, exist to be discovered! A new trial is uploaded each day! An online leaderboard will allow you to see how you measure up to your friends!

Finally, two 16-bit classics join the venerable Virtual Console roster on the Wii U: BONK 3 Bonk’s Big Adventure and Devil’s Crush.
