On Thursday, EA went forward with their EA Play event, despite it being virtual. There was a lot of things announced during the event, but here are some of the things that we learned from the event:

Apex Legends is coming to the Nintendo Switch: Apex Legends took the gaming community by storm back in 2019, and it will now be able to be played on the popular console, the Nintendo Switch. With this, Apex Legends will be able to have cross-play support which will be a great opportunity for players to play with one another, regardless of console. The game is also coming to EA’s Steam platform.

Numerous games coming to Steam: In addition to Apex Legends, numerous other titles are coming to Steam, including The Sims 4, Titanfall 2 and Dead Space 3, among other titles. Given that EA used to limit the number of games available on PC to its Origin platform

Star Wars: Squadrons: Although the trailer was released earlier this week, it was shown during EA Play, and fans couldn’t be more excited for its October 2 release. This first-person space shooter game has the potential to be the best new Star Wars title in recent memory.
