Last week, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time finally arrived on PS4 and Xbox One to critical acclaim. Most critics agreed that the game managed to capture the original series’s spirit while also offering up some new gameplay mechanics of its own. Compared to every other game released in the series after Crash Team Racing, It’s About Time scored higher amongst critics and fans than other offerings from the series.

Over the weekend, fans and critics noticed that the ESRB had listed the recently released title for Xbox Series X. Seeing that the game is a multiplatform title, it’s easy to expect that the game will also launch on PS5. Rumors have been circulating that Crash 4 would arrive on the Nintendo Switch at some point, but it would seem that we’ll be getting a next-gen update as well as that version of the game.

Since the N.Sane Trilogy released back in 2017, the Crash Bandicoot series has been seeing a resurgence in popularity, with Crash appearing in the Skylanders Netflix series and had Crash Team Racing remastered back in 2019. Only time can tell what will come next for the series.
