EA’s Apex Legends Season 2 is officially coming on Tuesday. Ahead of that release date, let’s get prepared for all the exciting new additions that are coming to Season 2.

Coming this season is a new feature called STARS. There will be a Battle Pass as well, wth STARS being obtaining throughout new daily and weekly challenges. These STARS are specific to the Battle Pass that provide XP whenever you obtain them for your Battle Pass. With STARS comes daily challenges. There will be three new daily challenges that are chosen randomly from a list of 200. They are fairly easy challenges to accomplish, but helps support the players that are on the game everyday and reward those who do said challenges. With daily challenges comes weekly challenges, which are in sets of seven that come once a week and are intended to take multiple games to complete.

Along with the new Season 2 news, there were other announcements earlier last month about what would be coming to EA’s battle royale. They added a different character option into the game, as well as new weapons and a neutral creature that carries loot and can be located throughout the map that are called Flyers. They look like dragons that can be destroyed. If so, they will drop good loot for you and your team to use.

There is also a new addition of the game for the more fierce competitors within the community: a new ranked mode. This mode contains six different ranks throughout the competition: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond and Apex predator. You can climb the ladder of ranks throughout the entire second season, and will last until around September when Season 2 ends and 3 begins. Your progress will then be reseted.
