Tilted Towers, one of Fortnite‘s most beloved locations has finally returned. In the latest patch of the new Chapter 3 island, we see that the city has been hidden under ice (after having previously having been covered in snow, hit by a meteor, almost destroyed by a giant ice cube, fully demolished by a volcano and rebuilt a couple of times).

The Tilted Towers rose to fame during its 2017-2019 run as an integral part of Chapter 1. The city was commemorated by fans on social media because it became known as one of the most fun places to fight.

All the landmarks are still there – the underground garage, clocktower and apartment buildings. Any of these locations are fun to fight in because you can go inside or stay outdoors. It also gives the player a challenge because the location is always delivers a good fight. In Chapter 1, at least 10 players died there every match.

There’s another (and possibly more exciting?) addition: the Klombos. They’re giant dinosaur-looking creatures who roam the island. They’re mostly harmless and players can even use them for transportation.

“Ascend their tails to get to the blowhole on their heads, then get launched a great distance upwards to escape a tricky situation,” Fortnite developer Epic Games wrote in a blog post.

It’s possible to provoke a Klombo. though. If provoked, the Klombos can be calmed by another new addition — Klomberries. Klomberries can also be traded with the Klombo for various items.

Chapter 3 has brought a lot of changes including different actions you can take and intense weather patterns in the form of tornadoes and lightning storms. The update also brought back the grenade launcher, that is helpful when shooting a direct shot. It explodes after one bounce.
