Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a graphical remastering of the first three games in the Mass Effect series. Rumors were swirling throughout 2020 about when the collection would be released before EA and Bioware officially announced on N7 Day (November 7) that the games will launch sometime in 2021. Additionally, EA and Bioware also announced that a new Mass Effect game was in the works and that it was being developed by several members of the original Mass Effect Trilogy staff.

The last game to be released in the Mass Effect franchise was 2017’s Mass Effect Andromeda, which was met with polarizing reviews. In addition to Mass Effect, Bioware has Dragon Age IV in development.
