The new Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card is now on sale now!

The RTX 3060 is the most affordable card to pack in Nvidia’s proprietary Ampere GPU architecture, which is massively more efficient than previous Turing architecture. 3060 users can also take advantage of Ray-Tracing cores to make lighting effects ultra high-detail. The new shader core on 3000 series cards is reportedly 2.7 times faster than previous GPUs.

3060 hopefuls can looks forward to DLSS support which according to Nvidia, “uses 3rd Generation Tensor Cores to boost frame rates in ray-traced and rasterized games. Enjoy Cyberpunk 2077Minecraft with RTXCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and other games at 60 FPS by simply enabling GeForce Experience’s One Click Optimal Settings.”

The 3060 also has 12 gigabytes of GDDR6 VRAM and boasts a clock speed of 15 gigabits per second. The Nvidia announcement came with some relief, as previous announcements about the 3060’s release date have been worryingly vague, hinting at delays.
