The upcoming FPS/horror game from indie developer TeamKill Media, Quantum Error, will be making the jump from PS4/5 exclusive and will now arrive on Xbox Series X. Announced on the company’s YouTube and Twitter account, the reaction from fans has been mixed. Responding to some of the complaints, TeamKill Media said on Twitter that “we did not announce for the PS5 and not Xbox as any type of marketing trick. Our first game came out only on PlayStation and not Xbox due to performance issues.” One of their games didn’t run at an acceptable frame-rate on Xbox One.

In a separate tweet, the developer announced that the game would launch simultaneously on Xbox Series X, as well as PS5/4. “We have been given the opportunity to bring our game to even more gamers, and that is a plus for everyone,” the company said in a release. “PlayStation was the first, and now Xbox will be added.”

Over on the company’s YouTube account, a commenter asked if the game would arrive on PC, to which TeamKill Media responded, “It is very possible.”

Though a release date has yet to be announced, Quantum Error is set to come out on PlayStation and Xbox consoles sometime in 2021.
