The PS5 is launching with plenty of games, with a few of them exclusive to Sony’s next-gen system. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Bug Snax and Godfall are all exclusive to PS5 and launching alongside Sony’s next machine (though Godfall is a timed exclusive for six months). But, just as with any new console, there are still plenty of exclusives to come. In a recent commercial for the PS5’s launch, Sony has confirmed that a few of its exclusives will arrive in 2021.

While the company has yet to give official release dates for most of its titles, many are planned to arrive next year. Games like Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7 and Returnal: Anticipation are expected to arrive in the first half of 2021, while Horizon: Forbidden Wild is anticipated to launch in the second half of 2021. With COVID-19 affecting game development, don’t be surprised if any of these titles will be pushed back.

So far, the only PS5 exclusive game with a confirmed release date for 2021 is Destruction AllStars, which was originally supposed to be a launch title for the PS5, but will instead be a free game for those who are subscribed to PlayStation+.

The PlayStation 5 arrived on November 12. If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, you’ll have to wait for a chance to buy one later this year or in 2021.
