‘FIFA 20’ New Modes, Cover Stars And Release Info
EA’s newest addition to the FIFA series, FIFA 20, is set to release on September 27. Here is what we know regarding the new game, including new additions, patches and changes to the famous series.
Remember the FIFA Street games dating back as late as 2005? The on-street freestyle ‘futsal’ game of doing skill moves in 5v5s has returned in FIFA 20. The new ‘Volta Football’ mode allows you to play either 3v3 with no goalies, 4v4, 4v4 with no goalies, or simply 5v5. A real, professional-like futsal mode can also be played in the Volta mode, with matches being both indoor and outdoor.

EA has announced that they have two different athletes on their upcoming games, each assigned to a different version of the new FIFA 20. Real Madrid star Eden Hazard will be on the main, regular edition, while Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk will be the face of the more expensive Champions Edition. The Ultimate edition has yet to be announced if EA are planning on releasing a different cover star for the final version.

The famous mode Pro Clubs is also receiving some upgrades, including new positions, more creative customization options with their created players, and new modes within the mode itself.
There will be two new match types that will be introduced in Pro Clubs: House Rules and Practice.
House Rules will be a new daily cup option inspired by last year’s new kick-off mode’s house rules that included wacky rules that spiced up the game. The House Rules Cup will be rotated daily for new and different options to play within the game everyday.
The game comes out September 27, but if you have EA Access, you can play the game a week early starting September 19. You’ll have a 10 hour trial with the game.
