Ubisoft has revealed that the recently released Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has had the biggest launch in the series history. The press release was sent out by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s producer, Julien Laferrière, who unveiled the good news. “We are truly delighted by the enthusiastic response from our players and want to thank the fans for their incredible support,” wrote Laferrière. “Delivering this game amid a global pandemic was a true tour de force by our teams, and it’s fantastic to see players enjoying the game so much.”

Laferrière also discussed that the developers would continue to produce more content for Valhalla’s future as to”keep players immersed in their epic Viking saga for a long time to come.” Along with the announcement of the incredible milestone and of more content to come to Valhalla, Ubisoft also revealed some small tidbits of data about how players have been engaging with the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla since the game’s launch.

Players have traveled a collected four million kilometers of terrain in Ubisoft’s fictional take on the Viking Era, while 55 million buildings have been constructed in players’ Settlement. Additionally, over 3.5 million games of Orlog have been won, and 1.8 million players have won at least one drinking game.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia.
