Keanu Reeves, the actor best known for his work in both The Matrix and John Wick movie franchises, recently starred in a behind-the-scenes video of Cyberpunk 2077. In it, Reeves talked about his involvement in the project, including a discussion about his character, Johnny Silverhand. What really interested Reeves in the project was the ability to “play a character in so many kinds of different ways because of different threads, paths or choices.”

Along with recording sessions for Johhny, fans got to see some behind the scenes mo-cap sessions that featured Reeves. He explained that doing motion capture was “all very familiar to me,” as he was already experienced with doing it in the Matrix series. “The only difference, I think, technologically, was how close they were going to real-time review.”

When discussing Johnny, Reeves explained that “he’s got a lot of energy. He’s got a sense of humor, if not a little dark at times… He wants to change the world. He has a cause; he wants to fight against the corpocracy.”

Get ready to see Reeves’ breathtaking performance when Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 7. Players who purchase the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free copy of the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions.
